Ingredients for Basic Chili:
- 2 lbs ground meat
- 2 cups diced onion
- 4 cups beef broth
- 4 tbsp chili pepper
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic
- 2 tbsp oregano
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp oil
Spices:
- Tbsp smoked paprika
- Tbsp choriza chili powder
- Tbsp ancho chili powder
- Tbsp chipotle chili powder
- Tbsp cayenne chili powder
Chiles:
- Poblano pepper
- Serrano pepper
- Red chili pepper
- Jalapeno pepper
- Habanero/scotch bornet
Options of ingredients:
- 1 cup of green pepper
- 1 cup of celery
- 1 cup of corn
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp instant coffee
- 1 tbsp coco
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 can coke
- 1 bottle of beer
- 1 shot of whiskey/bourbon
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients you choose and place them in a crock pot/slow cooker
- Choose your spices and peppers
- Cook slowly until acquired taste is achieved
