Beer Bread


  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 X 341 ml beer bottle


  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl along with 1 bottle of beer
  2. Bake in the oven at 350F
  3. Open the second beer and drink it while continuously watching the dough rises (note: it may be sticky)
  4. Options: you may add herbs and cheddar to the batch
