Homemade Chili Powder

  • 2 tbsp ancho powder
  • 2 tbsp chipotle powder
  • 4 tbsp paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp cumin seed
  • 2 tsp cayenne (optional)
  1. Toast the peppers in the oven until the oils start to bleed
  2. Heat the seeds in the frying pan until fragrant
  3. Grind all ingredients in a spice mill until they reach a fine consistency
